Snow, Guitar, and Best Buddy!!!!

Here is a picture of Kael the first time he played in the snow this year. I didn't think that he would like it, but he has loved it. He just hates when his hands get really cold and then sting. He freaks out.

Kael loves Guitar Hero. Every day he goes and finds the game, gets the guitar and then asks me to play. About a month ago after ever song he would start saying "Rock On." Not sure were he picked that up. Now he always says that he wants to watch rock on.

Here is a cute picture of him jammin out.

Seriously my son is the funniest little boy ever. I love him!!!!

So these two are seriously the cutest ever. (Even though Kael has a dirty face.) They are the best little buddies. I have never seen two little boys at this age play so good together.

Kael and Beau

The boys were being way to quiet and when I went to find them this is what I found. I am telling you the best boys ever!

Santa Clause

We attempted to see Santa Clause tonight and for the most part Kael did pretty good. We went with his cousins which he absolutely adores. Waiting in line I keep saying, "Are you going to sit on Santa's lap." Every time I asked he said yes and he wasn't freaking out, so I thought heck ya this is going to be good.

Well, his cousins went before him and he started to get a little nervous. When I told him that it was his turn Holy Freak Out. He started screaming and would not let go of me. Santa said I could sit by him with Kael on my lap. As you can see from the picture he would not look at Santa.

Well after a few seconds, Kael actually talked to him. Santa asked what he wanted and Kael said, "Presents." Kael also told him he wanted some cars.
In the end Kael ended up giving Santa a high five and getting a sucker. Good Job Kael!

Forgotten Carols and Christmas Lights

Kael is in love with Christmas lights. He actually always has been. When he was a month old we would lay him under our Christmas tree and we would lay there forever. Friday night we went to go look at the lights in Spanish Fork. We went with Dave, Nichol, Shaun, Ashley and their girls. It was $5 a vehicle, so we all piled into one and went to see the lights. Kael loved it. He keep saying hi to everything.
"I'm Ready, mom!"
So excited for the lights. You can see him waving at everything.

We tried to get a picture of everyone but it didn't work. Behind the twins is Shaun and Ashley. You can see part of Dan's hat. We were packed in there.
On Saturday night some of Dan's family came up and we went to the Forgotten Carols. Oh my gosh. it was so good. I loved it. I highly recommend it to everyone. Here is a picture of the sister-in-laws, minus Shannon.

Thanksgiving and a Birthday!

This weekend was a very long, but very fun weekend. We headed down to Holden on Wednesday. Thursday we woke up and instantly started to party. Kael's birthday was on Thanksgiving this year. So we had a very eventful day.... We started out letting Kael open some presents when he woke up. We made him some waffles and put a candle in them and he got to blow them out. We then got ready for Thanksgiving dinner. That night everyone came over and celebrated Kael's birthday. He loved it.

We headed to Delta on Friday afternoon. That night some of the sister-in-laws decided to have a girls night out and we went to Twilight. I had already seen it, but I loved it more the second time. I made true Twilight fans out of all of them. Saturday we all went to the light parade, which Kael loved. He is in love with all of the lights everywhere. After the light parade we went back to Dan's parents house and had Kael's second birthday party. Yes, I know, he is a very spoiled boy. Now he thinks every time that he sees a present it is his.

Thanks to everyone who helped us have a wonderful Thanksgiving and helped Kael celebrate his second birthday. We love you all!!!

Happy Birthday Kael!

November 27, 2006

Two years ago my life changed. I thought that life couldn't get any better then it was. I was married to the most wonderful guy ever and we were so happy. On the morning on the 27th, Dan drove me to the hospital in the snow and at 2:18 a beautiful little boy was born. I never knew how much a 7 pound little life could change your whole world. From the moment he arrived he brought so much joy and love to us.

Kael at 2 1/2 weeks old:

I really can't believe that Kael is turning two on Thanksgiving. I still feel like he is my little baby, but in reality he isn't my baby anymore, he is my little boy. He is the best little boy ever. People ask me what I do all day long and I simply say, "I just sit around and watch Kael." Seriously, you think that it would get boring, but he never makes one minute dull. He is has the cutest little personality. He has his dad's good looks, but his mom's personality. He is not a shy boy at all. He will jabber to anyone, anywhere. Here are a couple of the cute things that he has done lately:

*Dan called me a couple days ago and was asking for a phone number. I started to say (801) and all the sudden I heard Kael say "789," I was laughing so hard that I could talk to Dan anymore.

*This one is my Favorite:***I was calling my mom and right before my mom answered the phone, Kael walked up to me, put his hand in the air, put is head down and said "ROCK ON."(he loves guitar hero.) When me mom answered the phone once again laughing so hard I could not breath.

*He has started being very, very loving lately. Throughout the day he will just come up and give me the biggest hug ever and say "hi mom," then he kisses me and runs off and plays. Seriously how to you get mad at him...

Kael I just want you to know how much I love you and how blessed me and your dad are to be your parents. You are such an amazing little boy. I hope that you have a great birthday. Love you Kael Bud!!!!

Family Pictures!!!!

We finally got our family pictures done. The last family picture that we had done was when Kael was 6 months old. One of my really good friends, Amanda Peterson, did these. I couldn't have asked for anything better. She does such an amazing job. You have seen her kids throughout my blog. Her little girl, Bailey, is Kael's girlfriend and her little boy, Baeu, is Kael's buddy. Amanda, thank you so much. I love them so much. I don't know how in the world I am going to choose from all of them.

Happy Halloween!!!!

This Halloween was so fun. Last year Kael didn't have a clue what was going on, so I was very excited for this year. I was the world's best mom and didn't decide what any of us were going to be until the day before. I kind of glad I didn't though, because everything just kind of fell into place. Kael was a monkey, I was a jungle girl, and Dan was Indiana Jones.

We went down to Delta on Halloween night. Dan's mom was having a party. We got down there and took Kael trick-or-treating. He loved it. He would run to the door, knock and then as soon as they opened the door we would run right inside the door and wait for the candy. He told everyone thank you for the candy and then before we left we would say, "Night, Night. See ya!" It was really cute.

When we got back we ate and played games. Everyone dressed up for the party. It was so much fun. Thanks Colleen for everything you did.
Jungle Girl, Monkey, and Indiana Jones.
The Family.
(well, everybody that was there)

I had to show everybody this. My sister-in-law Ashley made these. They were made out of peanut butter and jelly. The bone was a pretzel and the finger nail was a slice of an almond. They were so cool, but I have to be honest, it really grossed me out to think about biting into it and thinking about the gooey jelly and the crunch on the pretzel.

Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear

So Kael has never been much of a Teddy Bear lover. He has a blanket that he loves. Tonight I go in his room and he is totally play with his bear. He was dancing with it and showing it toys. It was so funny, but very cute. I didn't think much of it at first, but then he brought me his sippy and said, "bear drink." I thought he just want some more juice so I filled up his cup and off he went.

I went into the living room and this is what I found. He was feeding the bear his juice. I am not really sure were he learned to do this, but it was the cutest thing. After I took this picture I came to the computer to load these pictures and then I here Kael coming in the room with his dump truck. Guess what was in it?

That's right! Kael and his teddy bear. He look at me and said, "Teddy Bear, dump truck ride." After this I told Kael that him and teddy bear needed to go to bed. For once Kael actually didn't fight me with it. Him and his teddy bear got snuggled in and ready for bed.

Crazy and Fun Weekends!

We have had two crazy weekends in a row. Two weekends ago I got to go down to my sisters house and watch her two kids. I was a little scared, but very excited. She has a 2 1/2 year old little boy and a 4 month old little girl. Tucker and Kael get along so good so I wasn't to afraid. It was the baby a was scared about. It is crazy how fast you forget about the needs of a infant. It turned out to be such a great weekend. The boys played so good together and me and Dalli are best buds now.

Guess What? I got all three of them to sleep at the same time. Can you say SUPER NANNY!

This last weekend it was the deer hunt. Those of you that know my family know this is huge. We went down on Thursday and stayed until Monday night. Dan didn't get a deer, but we all had a great time trying.

On Monday my sister Penni and I decided that our boys needed to go deer hunting, so we got them in orange and gave them their guns and were off to the mountains. They loved it. Kael got tired and just wanted me to hold him, but it was fun while it lasted.

Kael got his first black eye this weekend at my moms house. It wasn't a very bad one but he still thought that it hurt. He keep saying, "eye hurt."

I TOOK LOTS OF PICS, SO CHECK OUT THE SLIDE SHOW!!!
