We Are Alive.....Barely!

We are back!!!! We got moved in and got settled, then life got crazy. Two weeks after we were here I thought I was going to die. Actually, I wanted to die. I woke up one morning with some pain on my side. It wasn't to bad so I just went on with the day. Around 3:00 I called Dan and said get home, I am dying and I can not take care of Kael. When he got home he found me some strong medicine from when I had Kael and gave them to me. It settled me down enough to go to sleep. I woke up and felt all right the pain was still there, but not as bad. We went to a birthday party and then came home and went to bed. At 3:00 in the morning I woke up and I knew that I was dying. At 5:00 we called Dan's mom up and told here to come watch Kael and we were going to the hospital. When we got there I found out that I had a Kidney Stone...WHAT? I was in shock. I really only that men and old people got those. Some people say that it is a lot like having a baby. I second that, it is worse. I am just so thankful that we were in Delta.
A week after my hospital stay, Kael had to have his tonsils out and tubes in his ears. I was scared to death. I hear about kids getting them out all of the time, but this time it was my little boy. He was so good. We had to go in at 7:30 am. When we got there I really thought that he would kind of be freaked out. Not my boy, he was so excited. It helped that he was treated like king.

This was his room when we got there. They were so good to us.

This is Kael playing with all the stuff they gave him. This was before the surgery.
Here is Kael in his cute little scrubs they had for him.

Going into recovery is a moms worst nightmare. He had no clue were he was and he was so sad. His face was so swollen, it didn't even look like him.

This is him after. So, so sad.

The only way to keep him from not crying is to let him be in a wagon that they had there. I think I walked up and down the halls of the hospital a thousand times. He was so brave and did so good. At his week check up they were amazing with how well he was doing. Nobody could believe that he had his tonsils out.

So on a good note....We love Delta. I am seriously living the perfect life right now. Here are some more pics of the happenings that have been going on.

My mom and all of the girls went to Region Drill Team. It was in Millard and we all love to go and watch them dance. We had the kids and they actually did really well. Kael loves to dance so I knew that he would really like it. The Selgaes took Region and then the next week the took State. Good Job Selgaes!!!!

Dalli, Tucker and Kael.
Here are the boys. They were very into it. Their dads would kill us if they saw this.
Here is Kael with his tools and hard hat. He loves to help his dad.

One day I walked down stairs and this is how I found Kael. I asked him what he was doing and he told me he was waiting for dad. He loves his dad.

Good to hear you are ok. My mom said you guys had been sick. Sorry, that is not fun and it seems like stuff comes all at once. Bree talks about you all the time. Need to get together.

Sounds like you have had alot going on. I guess I will forgive you for not keeping in touch! I'm glad that you are all healthy and happy now. Give Kael a kiss and let's get together real soon with Kael and the girls.

Well it looks like you're staying busy down there. Even though it's not a fun busy. I'm glad to hear that you are both doing better. It was so good to see you a couple of weeks ago. I knew I missed you but that just told me how much I really do miss you. Anyway, enough sadness, I know you love it there and that's all that matters. Lets just plan a play day soon.
